Community Information & Restrictions
Oak Shores is a private gated lake community designed to preserve a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests and residents.

Please note:
Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Outdoor amplified music is prohibited
Maximum occupancy and parking limits must be followed at all times
No parties or events permitted unless specifically approved
Guests must comply with all Oak Shores HOA rules and lake regulations

Oak Shores security patrol actively monitors the community, and violations may result in fines or removal from the property without refund.

Watercraft Policy & Fees

Guests are welcome to bring boats and personal watercraft to enjoy Lake Nacimiento.

Watercraft must comply with all California boating regulations
Oak Shores may charge launch or usage fees, which are subject to change
Boat parking restrictions may apply depending on water levels and HOA regulations
Guests are responsible for confirming current lake conditions, launch availability, and any applicable fees prior to arrival
During low lake levels, launch access and dock usability may vary

Bringing a watercraft into Oak Shores requires a $25 per day fee, plus a $5 mussel inspection fee. All watercraft must be clean, drained, and dry and must not have been in a mussel-infected body of water within 30 days prior to arrival. Watercraft that do not meet these requirements are not permitted into the community.
Per California law, all watercraft drivers are required to have a boating license. Boating licenses can be obtained at California Fish and Game or a search of California boating license will return several sites to take the class and the test.

The community permits up to 8 adults (over the age 16) for this home; any additional guests, up to the sleeping capacity, must be children under 16.

Lake activities are seasonal and dependent on weather and water conditions.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
